Indus Vally PotteryAmri Bowl (complete reglued)

Well potted good shape, decorated with curvilinear geometric hatched pattern in line boarder. Later phase. Circa 2600BC.

The Amri ceramic assemblage comprises of extremely well made wares fired light red or buff. Decoration is usually black paint. Earliest designs and exclusively geometric developing into more curvilinear motifs over time. Characteristic vessels and open bowls, jars and vases.
