Amri Bowl (intact with small chips)

Finely potted with simple bold geometric block pattern in black pint. Relative early phase. Circa 2600 BC.

The Amri ceramic assemblage comprises of extremely well made wares fired light red or buff. Decoration is usually black paint. Earliest designs and exclusively geometric developing into more curvilinear motifs over time. Characteristic vessels and open bowls, jars and vases.
